What affects the price of a website?
Number of pages and content
The more content and pages, the more work. A 5-page brochure site is much faster to build than a 30-page platform.
Design – template or custom
A template is faster and cheaper. Custom design is unique, fits your brand perfectly and sets you apart from competitors.
CMS – can you edit yourself?
Want to update content without contacting a developer? Then you need a content management system, which adds monthly database costs.
Integrations and features
Booking, payment solutions, CRM, calendar – each integration increases development cost and may add monthly API costs.
SEO and technical optimisation
Getting SEO right from the start saves you expensive consultant bills later. Good structure, fast loading and correct metadata are included with us.
Maintenance and support
Need us to keep everything updated and available? A maintenance agreement gives predictable cost. Alternatively you own the code and run it yourself.
Costs many people forget

e.g. yourcompany.no

Business email
Google Workspace or Microsoft 365

Frequently asked questions about website pricing
Can I get a free website?
There are free tools like Wix and Google Sites, but these aren't suitable for serious businesses. You're locked to the platform and don't own the code. A professional website costs money to build, but doesn't need to cost anything in monthly fees if you choose static hosting.
What does hosting cost per month?
A simple static website can be hosted free (0 kr/month). Sites with CMS cost from around 199 kr/month for database hosting. Online shops typically cost from 399 kr/month due to product databases and payment integration.
Is it cheaper to use Wix or Squarespace?
Wix costs from 179–399 kr/month and you never own the code. Over 3 years that's 6,000–14,000 kr in subscriptions – plus limited SEO and no code ownership. A custom static website can have 0 kr in monthly costs after the development is paid for.
What does maintenance cost?
With our maintenance agreement, updates, security and support are included at a fixed monthly price. Alternatively you can own the code yourself and run it without monthly costs to us.
Do I get a fixed price?
Yes. We always give a fixed price for the development based on what you need. No surprises – we agree on scope and price upfront.
